Warriors guard Klay Thompson had his collegiate No. 1 jersey retired by Washington State on Saturday.

#CollegeKlay was in full effect as he returned to Pullman for just the second time since wrapping up his career there in 2011.

Check out some of the best moments from a fun, emotional day for Thompson.

He still loves rooting for his Cougs: Klay had some hilarious reactions as he watched Washington State rally back to beat Oregon State in Pullman. He even anointed Cougars guard Isaac Bonton an “honorary splash brother” after a shot from well beyond the college three-point line.

The Zaza-Klay bromance continues: Former Warriors center Zaza Pachulia always has had a special bond with Thompson, and that continued Saturday as Pachulia couldn’t pass up an opportunity to celebrate Klay’s collegiate career.

It’s all love between the Splash Brothers: Ahead of making his sideline analyst debut during Saturday’s Warriors-Magic game, Steph Curry flew up to witness his longtime teammate being honored.

Klay sees a Rose Bowl in Washington State’s future: During fellow Washington State product and Warriors reporter Kerith Burke’s interview with new Cougars football coach Nick Rolovich, Klay jumped in and a made a bold prediction.

The school hasn’t appeared in the New Year’s Day classic since 2003.

Klay being Klay: Thompson clearly is dying to get back on the court, and brought the same energy to Pullman he’s brought to the Warriors bench all season during his injury rehab. He even got up a few shots at Wazzu’s practice on Friday.

Warriors fans likely are equally enthusiastic about getting Klay back on the court this season, but moments like these will have to do for now.
