Klay jokingly roasts ex-Warriors teammate Ezeli after win

Klay Thompson was all smiles Tuesday night after the Warriors' comeback 123-105 win over the Portland Trail Blazers at Chase Center.

Thompson joined NBC Sports Bay Area's Bonta Hill, Chris Mullin and Festus Ezeli on "Warriors Postgame Live" and took the opportunity to poke fun at his former teammate.

Ezeli, who played four seasons alongside the Splash Brother with Golden State from 2012 to 2016, asked Thompson about shimmying after draining a 3-pointer against Portland. The former Warriors center caught a stray.

“You’ve never been able to shoot from the perimeter,” Thompson jokingly said. “You can’t shimmy after a dunk. It just doesn’t go together.”

The “Warriors Postgame Live” crew erupted in laughter.

Thompson knocked down three 3-pointers Tuesday night en route to a 23-point performance, his 15th 20-point game since the calendar flipped to 2023.
