Klay looks healthy running sprints with brother on track

Klay Thompson appears to be close to his normal, physical self, which should make Warriors fans very happy.

He recently posted videos of him and his brother, Mychel, doing some sprints at the track. They even competed in a race.

Klay took to his Instagram stories to talk about how much he respects track athletes who have to train with sprints and run long distances. Which is fair, because running is the worst.

This is a positive sign from the 30-year-old, who is coming off a torn left ACL he sustained on June 13, 2019, in Game 6 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors. This forced him to miss the entirety of the 2019-20 season.

Just last month he was doing “light work” with the Warriors during practice, and teammate Marquese Chriss said Klay looked like his typical self and healthy while “he was running full court.” He looked comfortable, which was the most important.

Warriors president of basketball operations Bob Myers also said Klay was looking great recently, with the next step in his journey back being live NBA action.

Klay doing sprints with his brother Mychel, who also briefly played in the NBA, shows he’s well on his way to being that five-time All-Star we’re used to seeing on the court.
