If you know anything about Klay Thompson, it's that he lives, eats and breathes the game of basketball. And, that missing two straight seasons due to injury clearly is killing the Warriors star.
Thompson's frustration with not being able to help his team has been evident a few times this season, and the latest example came Wednesday night when Thompson was caught looking irritated on the bench with the Warriors trailing the Miami Heat by 15 in the fourth quarter at Chase Center.
While Thompson would give anything to be helping his Splash Brother Steph Curry drag this new-look Warriors team to wins, the three-time champion did have a front-row seat Wednesday night to an impressive comeback that saw Golden State erase that 15-point deficit and pick up a 120-112 win in overtime to move three games over .500.
Wednesday's latest Klay moment came after cameras caught him throwing a towel in frustration while the Warriors were getting whacked by the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.
It's safe to say that Klay has been, and will be, the conduit for the emotional roller-coaster that this Warriors season will be.
But next season, Thompson plans to finally return to the court and help get the Warriors back to where they were when he tore his ACL in Game 6 of the 2019 NBA Finals.
