LeBron James shouted out the Warriors' "Strength in Numbers" mantra after the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Miami Heat in six games to win the 2020 NBA Finals, but then it fell short with a former Golden State point guard.
Quinn Cook became a two-time champion Sunday night. He also had to walk back to the team hotel after being left behind at the arena. The Lakers' team bus apparently forgot Cook, who let his teammates know on Instagram.
Cook hopped on JR Smith's Instagram Live and wrote "Gotta walk back after I win a fu--ing ring wtf" and "Make a Uturn."

Cook, 27, made a dream come true winning a ring with the Lakers. He and his late father grew up Lakers fans, and Cook idolized Kobe Bryant.

Cook appeared in 44 regular-season games with the Lakers and averaged 5.1 points per game. He appeared in just six games throughout the playoffs and averaged 2.2 points per game.
Golden State Warriors
The point guard played with the Warriors in the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons. The Duke product averaged 7.7 points per game over his Golden State career and won a championship in 2018.
