Lakers now favored to win series vs. Dubs heading into Game 4

Bettors are changing who they believe will win the Western Conference semifinal matchup between the Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers.

According to odds provided by our partner, PointsBet, the Warriors are now +160 to win the series while the Lakers are -200 before Game 4 at Crypto.com Arena.

Golden State is +850 to win the NBA Finals, behind the Boston Celtics (+150), Denver Nuggets and Lakers (+450), Phoenix Suns (+700) and Philadelphia 76ers (+800). Only the Miami Heat (+1800) and New York Knicks (+6600) have worse odds of winning a championship than the Warriors.

Considering how the Warriors have played so far this series, it makes sense why bettors are flipping to back the Lakers instead, especially after Game 3. Almost nothing went right in Game 3, as the Warriors lost their composure on defense and allowed Los Angeles to shoot 37 free throws -- 20 more than Golden State.

Still, star guard Steph Curry and coach Steve Kerr are confident in the Warriors' ability to bounce back in Game 4, despite how lopsided Game 3's final box score might appear. That confidence just isn't reflected in the minds of bettors before Game 4.
