LeBron wants Cavs pulled from national TV, ‘lost for words' after latest loss

Just when you think it can't get any worse for the Cavs, it gets much, much worse.

The defending Eastern Conference champions got blown out by the Rockets at home on Saturday evening. The 120-88 defeat was Cleveland's eighth straight loss on national TV and drops their overall record to 30-21. They are now five games behind the Raptors for second place in the East and half a game ahead of the Wizards for fourth place.

After the crushing defeat, LeBron James didn't try to sugarcoat things.

“I’m lost for words," James said.

Then, he took the drastic step of calling for the Cavs to be removed from all national TV games for the rest of the season.

“They should take us off every nationally televised game for the rest of the season. We haven’t played good at all and we get our butts kicked every time we play on national television, so I’m at a loss for words," James told reporters after the game.

For those keeping track at home, the Cavs have 13 national TV games left on the schedule and that doesn't include six games on NBA TV.

Cavs point guard Isaiah Thomas didn't hold back either when addressing the issues plaguing the team.

"We're not together on both ends. There's a lot of one-on-one on the offense end, maybe because we don't trust each other. And then on the defensive end, it's the same thing. Guys are put on islands and there's no trust. I mean, if you don't trust something ... I don't know. I think it has a lot to do with trust on both ends," Thomas told reporters.

The Cavs have 31 games to figure things out before they start the defense of their Eastern Conference crown. If they don't right the ship, James could be on his way out of town...again.
