Steph Curry is playing some of the best basketball of his NBA career, as both the stats and simple eye-test on a nightly basis indicates.
Without his fellow Splash Brother Klay Thompson by his side for the second consecutive season, Curry is posting the second-best scoring average (29.6 PPG) of his professional life, with the only exception being his unanimous NBA MVP season of 2015-16.
Mychal Murder, the Warriors guard who has shot himself into the Warriors' rotation over his year-plus in the organization, spoke about how Steph's determination and drive to be playing so well in his 12th NBA season has motivated his younger teammates.

"Being able to be around him every day and see his approach and his work ethic is really awesome and it's infectious to the rest of the group," Mulder told 95.7 The Game on Thursday. "I think he really makes us better on both ends of the floor, and that's something that's really impressive, it's not just his shooting but he's having a really strong year on the defensive end, and that's something that is a testament to his character and his work ethic and he's not anywhere near one-dimensional, so I think from that aspect he makes us a lot better.
"From a shooter's aspect, seeing the work that he puts into his craft day in and day out it's inspiring to guys like us and it obviously inspires us to work harder every single day."

Only Curry (42.9) has a better 3-point percentage than Mulder (42.6) this season on the Warriors' roster among players averaging more than two attempts per game.

Even as the Warriors' depth once again has been tested due to injury in 2020-21, Mulder has played in all but one of the team's contests, providing valuable sharpshooting to the second unit.
Curry is the top vote-getter among Western Conference guards in NBA All-Star fan voting after the second returns, and if the Warriors' young players can continue to feed off Steph's energy and desire, the Warriors should be in good shape for a playoff run come the end of this unique season.
