“Space Jam 2,” starring NBA legend LeBron James and featuring Warriors star Klay Thompson, comes out this summer.

Mychal asked why Warriors’ own Kevon Looney was not featured in the movie, especially with the Looney Tunes squad literally making an appearance. Really missed the pun opportunity on that.

From the looks of the trailer, the movie, which is the sequel to the iconic 1996 classic film starring Michael Jordan, looks pretty great. Klay himself iss part of the Goon Squad which means, his team will be facing LeBron and the toons in the movie.

I’ll admit. I have apprehensions because I’m a sucker for the original movie, but it appears they’re not messing with the original soundtrack too much which is something to appreciate.
Basketball legends Diana Taurasi, Nneka Ogwumike, Anthony Davis and Damian Lillard all are in the movie as well, but Looney 100 percent should also be in this film.
