The NBA completed their three-day reveal of the league's 75th Anniversary Team on Thursday, and two notable Warriors weren't on the list.
While Steph Curry made the cut, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green were left off the team, which actually consisted of 76 players due to a tie.
Prior to the Warriors' home opener against the LA Clippers, coach Steve Kerr was asked about the pair of three-time NBA champions not making the list.

"Just looking at the list and then thinking about the history of the NBA, how do you differentiate?" Kerr said in response to a question by The Athletic's Anthony Slater. "I looked at it. Seems like 50 or 60 guys who are kind of automatic and then you just pick one and you can't go wrong or you can't be right, depending on how you look at it.
"I definitely think both guys are top 75, just based on winning and two-way basketball and everything that really matters, that matter more than statistics and anything related to numbers. What matters is if you're winning championships, then that's what counts. So I would have hoped and thought both guys would be on there."
Thompson and Green, along with Curry, helped build the Warriors into an NBA juggernaut that went to five straight NBA Finals and won three titles (2015, 2017, 2018).
Thompson already voiced his displeasure with missing out on the 75th Anniversary Team, writing on Instagram: "Maybe I'm just naive in my ability to play basketball, but in my head, I'm TOP 75 all time."
Golden State Warriors
Aside from the championships, Thompson is a five-time NBA All-Star, two-time All-NBA selection and 2019-19 All-Defensive Second Team selection.
Green is a three-time NBA All-Star, 2016-17 Defensive Player of the Year, two-time All-NBA selection and six-time All-Defensive team selection.

With any list, ranking, or all-time team, there are going to be deserving players omitted. Recent Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame inductees Tracy McGrady and Grant Hill didn't make the 75th Anniversary Team. Hall of Famer and Warriors icon Chris Mullin was left off the team.
Making the 75th Anniversary Team would have been nice for the Warriors stars, but Kerr, Thompson and Green know the impact they've had on the Warriors organization and the game of basketball itself. That can never be questioned.
