Just one team will get the opportunity to select a player ahead of the Warriors in the 2020 NBA Draft, as the Minnesota Timberwolves own the first overall pick.
Plenty of speculation continues to circulate around who will be the first two players taken in November's draft, but PointsBet Sportsbook's latest odds seem to indicate that Georgia product Anthony Edwards will be the player coming off the board first from this year's class.

Although Edwards seems to be the consenus top prospect among many pundits, NBC Sports Bay Area's Grant Liffmann explains that it might not be Minnesota which ends up selecting the shooting guard at No. 1.
"If we're looking at their roster, Anthony Edwards probably fits what they need the most there," Liffmann said on the "Runnin' Plays" podcast. "But that also means if a team really loves Anthony Edwards, they can trade up and take him.
"I truly think if a team is going to trade up for the first overall pick, they're either going for LaMelo Ball, or they're thinking James Wiseman can go there."

Edwards is a puzzling prospect, someone that flashes such a high ceiling but also shows signs that he'll need significant development before he can reach his full NBA ability.
Wiseman, meanwhile, looks like the prototypical center at the NBA level, standing 7-foot-1 and showcasing strong potential on both ends of the court during his limited collegiate stint. NBC Sports Bay Area's Monte Poole sees him as one of this year's most unique potential draftees.
"There's really nobody else like him in this draft," Poole said. "He's 7'1, his wingspan is 7'6, everybody I've talked to says 'wow, his athleticism is elite.' He's just that lengthy and a terrific athlete."
Whichever of the four listed above ends up going at No. 1, the Warriors seem likely to select one of the leftovers with that second pick.
