Well, it didn't take long for Kevin Durant to have his wish granted.
The technical foul that he received during the Warriors' Game 3 win over the Clippers has been rescinded, the NBA announced Friday morning.
GSW’s K. Durant and LAC’s J. Green have double technical fouls (8:39, 3rd Q) from game on 4/18/19 rescinded upon league office review.— NBA Official (@NBAOfficial) April 19, 2019
From the moment referee Jason Phillips blew the whistle, it was widely speculated that the league office would come to this decision.
It was an egregious tech.

“We were conversing about the play before, and then someone came out of nowhere and tech’d us both," Durant explained to the media after the game. "Hopefully it gets rescinded."
Durant officially has been assessed two technicals in the playoffs, and would receive a one-game suspension if he gets a seventh.
