It appears Dragan Bender is headed back to Israel.
The former Warriors forward signed a contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv, according to multiple reports.
This allows Bender to make some money and compete at a high level for several months until the 2020-21 NBA season begins.
The 22-year-old -- who signed two 10-day contracts with Golden State last season -- averaged 9.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists over nine games in a Warriors uniform.
He racked up 23 points, seven rebounds and three assists in the Dubs' last game before the coronavirus pandemic shut down the season.
Before entering the NBA as the No. 4 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, Bender played for Maccabi Tel Aviv during the 2015-16 season.
