NBA rumors: Lakers star Anthony Davis will not play against Warriors

It looks like the Warriors will face a Lakers team Wednesday night that will not be at full strength.

Anthony Davis won't suit up because of shoulder and rib soreness, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reported Wednesday, citing league sources.

Davis played a team-high 38 minutes in the Lakers' win over the Suns on Tuesday night, registering 24 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, two steals and one block.

This will be his first game missed this season.

The Warriors, meanwhile, will be without Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Kevon Looney, Damion Lee, Jacob Evans and Alen Smailagic.
