The Warriors have been riding high recently, with six wins in their last seven games.

Meanwhile, their rival Rockets got some really bad news on Monday.

Houston center Clint Capela is going to miss four to six weeks because of ligament damage in his right thumb, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

The big man sustained the injury in the third quarter of Houston's loss in Orlando on Sunday.

Capela had a monster game against the Warriors on Jan. 3, where he notched 29 points and 21 rebounds in the Rockets overtime victory.

The 24-year old is averaging career highs this season in points (17.6), rebounds (12.6), assists (1.5) and free-throw percentage (62.6).

The next matchup between Golden State and Houston is at Oracle Arena on Feb. 23 -- which is five weeks and five days away. If the four-to-six week timetable is accurate, there's a chance Capela could be back by that game.

The Rockets -- who have dropped three of their last five after winning 11 of 12 -- have been without Chris Paul since Dec. 20. The point guard is expected to return by the end of the month.

If James Harden can elevate his game even more and hold down the fort, it will go a long way towards him capturing back-to-back MVPs.
