NBA rumors: Warriors acquiring D'Angelo Russell from Nets in sign-and-trade

The Warriors made a big move Sunday night, acquiring Nets guard D'Angelo Russell in a sign-and-trade, league sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

That surprising trade came just hours after Kevin Durant announced that he'll sign with the Nets.

It's unclear at this point if the potential sign-and-trade involves Durant, but the Warriors reportedly also will acquire Treveon Graham and Shabazz Napier in the deal, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Russell averaged 21.1 points and 7.0 assists per game last season. He shot 37 percent from deep and was an All-Star in the Eastern Conference.

The 23-year-old was selected by the Lakers with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2015 NBA Draft. They traded him to Brooklyn two years later, and he played the last two seasons with the Nets.

Shortly after this news broke, Woj reported the Warriors are trading Andre Iguodala to the Grizzlies, but Golden State still has much work to do in filling out its roster.

Buckle up.
