Despite the fact that the Warriors won't play again until December at the earliest, they had a chance to sign a player to their roster if they wanted to.
The team stood pat.
The Athletic's Anthony Slater reported Tuesday that the Warriors decided to let the NBA's one-week transaction window close without signing anyone.

The Warriors had the ability to sign one player, either for the rest of the 2019-20 season, or to a multi-year contract at the prorated value of the non-taxpayer mid-level exception, which equated to $1,219,837.
But with no games to be played for at least five months, it didn't make much sense for the Warriors to take on more salary.
The Warriors currently have 13 players under contract for the 2020-21 NBA season, but three are non-guaranteed (Juan Toscano-Anderson, Mychal Mulder and Ky Bowman).

While the Warriors didn't make a move over the last seven days, they will be busy in the offseason. They possess a valuable $17.2 million trade exception from the Andre Iguodala deal last summer, as well as a top-5 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft. They will also be able to add a player with the mid-level exception.
So the Warriors should look a little different when they take the court on opening night next season even if they look the same on July 1.
