NBA rumors: Warriors forward Jordan Bell agrees to T-Wolves contract

Warriors forward Jordan Bell might end up playing for the Timberwolves next season.

Bell agreed to a guaranteed contract with Minnesota, his agents told Chris Haynes of Yahoo! Sports.

At this point, we don't know the particulars of the deal, but Golden State extended a $1.8 million qualifying offer to Bell last week, making him a restricted free agent. So, the Warriors can match any deal the 24-year-old signs.

The Warriors paid the Bulls $3.5 million for Bell's draft rights in 2017. The Oregon product had a very promising rookie season, but he took a step back in Year 2.

The Timberwolves were hoping to sign D'Angelo Russell, but as Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic wrote Monday:

And then, out of nowhere, a dynasty swooped in to bring chaos to the party.

Even for a franchise that has been punched in the gut more often than Rocky Balboa, this one packed a wallop. Afterward, it wasn’t even resignation or devastation that permeated the team, it was disbelief.

This makes you wonder:

Check back soon to find out how much money Minnesota is giving Bell.
