If you were hoping to get some good news on Tuesday morning, you're in luck.

Kevin Durant (right calf strain) will travel with the Warriors to Toronto for the first two games of the NBA Finals, a league source told Yahoo's Chris Haynes.

After practice on Monday, Warriors coach Steve Kerr announced that KD will not play in Game 1 on Thursday and it was unclear if he would be on the team flight.

We have no clue if this means the reigning two-time NBA Finals MVP will be available for Game 2 against the Raptors on Sunday. But when you consider that he didn't travel to Houston for Game 6 or to Portland for Games 3 and 4 of the Western Conference finals, this is absolutely a positive development.

KD and the Warriors are leaving for Toronto on Tuesday afternoon.

On Wednesday, Golden State is expected to provide an update on Durant's status.
