It looks like Mike Brown is a serious candidate to succeed Doc Rivers.
The Warriors' associate head coach recently interviewed with the LA Clippers for the franchise's head coaching position, sources told ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Brown, who has been with the Warriors since the 2016-17 season, was named NBA Coach of the Year in 2009 after helping lead the Cleveland Cavaliers to a 66-16 record.
He reportedly interviewed with the Indiana Pacers in mid-September.

Golden State Warriors
The 50-year-old coached the Cavs for five seasons from 2005 to 2010, and returned to Cleveland in 2013 but was fired after one season. He coached the Los Angeles Lakers during the 2011-12 lockout-shortened season, and was relieved of his duties just five games into the 2012-13 campaign.

We are getting way ahead of ourselves here, but if Brown gets the Clippers job, perhaps the Warriors will look to replace him by bringing back Alvin Gentry.
Gentry, who in mid-August was fired as head coach of the New Orleans Pelicans, was Golden State's associate head coach in 2014-15 when the franchise won the NBA title for the first time since 1975.
Rivers last Thursday was hired as the next head coach of the Philadelphia 76ers, just three days after he and the Clippers mutually agreed to part ways.
