Report: Potential Warriors target Cook joining Blazers

So much for that Quinn Cook reunion.

The Athletic's Shams Charania reported Tuesday that Cook is signing a non-guaranteed contract with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Cook, 28, reportedly was scheduled to work out for the Warriors this week. He was set to join a list that includes guards Isaiah Thomas and Avery Bradley.

Cook was with the Warriors for the 2017-18 and 2018-19 seasons, and won a ring his first season on Golden State. Over two years as a Warrior, he averaged 7.7 points per game and shot 41.8 percent from 3-point range.

This past season, he averaged just 3.3 points per game in 23 games between the Los Angeles Lakers and Cleveland Cavaliers, but did make 42.3 percent of his 3s.

The Warriors' search continues to fill their 15th roster spot.
