The Warriors knocked off the Rockets in the first round of the Las Vegas Summer League tournament on Wednesday night, 80-76.

Keifer Sykes led Golden State with 17 points, and Royce Oneale registered 15 points and six rebounds.

Second-round pick Patrick McCaw racked up 13 points (3-for-6 3s), four rebounds and three assists.

Houston's K.J. McDaniels contributed a game-high 25 points to go along with nine rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks.

The 16th-seeded Warriors will be back in action on Thurdsay night as they take on the top-seeded Raptors.
