Report: Warriors have shown interest in trading for Bjelica

Nemanja Bjelica Andrew Wiggins

The NBA trade deadline is three weeks away, which means you are going to start hearing rumors.

Actually, they've already begun flying around.

The Warriors -- along with the Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, Miami Heat and Boston Celtics -- "are among teams" who have expressed interest in trading for Sacramento Kings big man Nemanja Bjelica, sources told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

The 6-foot-10 native of Serbia got off to a very slow start this season, and then was sidelined for 14 games from Jan. 11 through Feb. 9.

Bjelica is averaging 10.4 points, 4.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists over eight games since returning, while shooting 56 percent from the field and 38 percent from deep.

He certainly would provide some much-needed shooting in the frontcourt, and help space the floor.

The 32-year-old (he turns 33 on May 9) is making about $7.2 million this season, and will be an unrestricted free agent this summer.
