When it's winning time, call on Steph Curry and Draymond Green. They will come through when it's needed most.

That's what happened Thursday night in the Warriors' thrilling 118-113 win over the Denver Nuggets in Game 3 of their first-round NBA playoff series.

Jordan Poole joined the party, helping Curry and Green seal the win that put the Warriors up three-games-to-none. Golden State can finish off the sweep of Denver on Sunday afternoon at Ball Arena.

With the Warriors clinging to a one-point lead with over two minutes left in the fourth quarter, Andrew Wiggins got an offensive rebound, passed to Curry who found a wide-open Poole. The 22-year-old drove to the bucket and made an incredible acrobatic layup.

Two minutes later, Curry put the Nuggets to sleep with a wild layup around reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic.

The Nuggets had one last chance and got the ball to Jokic on the block. Green, who had five fouls, was isolated 1-on-1 and amazingly made the defensive play of the night, poking the ball away from the Nuggets' star.

Poole and Curry finished tied with a team-high 27 points in the win while Green had six points, five rebounds, 10 assists and two steals in the five-point win. Klay Thompson also hit several clutch shots, totaling 26 points.

The clutch performance by Curry, Green, Poole and Thompson gives the Warriors at least one road win in 24 straight playoff series, a new NBA record.
