Steph Curry is making up for lost time after missing the entire 2019-20 NBA season.
The two-time NBA MVP entered the 2020-21 NBA season with a career-high of 54 points, but for the second time this year, he topped that mark.
After dropping 62 points against the Portland Trail Blazers on Jan. 3, Curry went off for 57 dazzling points Saturday in the Warriors' 134-132 loss to the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center.
Along the way, Curry hit 11 mesmerizing 3-pointers, including one from the Mavericks logo.
Coach Steve Kerr and teammate Kent Bazemore were among those to praise Curry after the game, while the point guard himself said he had "mixed feelings" about the performance considering it came in a loss. Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic didn't think Curry was going to miss when he put up a shot Saturday night.
Nonetheless, NBA luminaries and fans were in awe of what Curry accomplished Saturday night.
Curry, who turns 33 next month but swears he feels like he's in his mid-20's, continues to dazzle NBA fans all over the world. There's nothing quite like a Curry eruption, as you can see by the Twitter reaction.
