Nemanja Bjelica officially signed his contract with the Warriors on Friday morning.

The 33-year-old -- who enters his seventh NBA season -- will earn the veteran's minimum (about $2.1 million) in 2021-22.

Did it take him a long time to agree to the deal once the Warriors extended the offer?

"It took less than a minute," Bjelica told the media. "I just said yes. I didn't think [for] one second. To be part of this historic organization is pretty exciting.

"Can't wait to meet the guys [and] the coaching staff."

Bjelica said something else that will bring a smile to Dub Nation.

Bjelica's best season came in 2019-20 when he averaged 11.5 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 0.9 steals over 72 games (67 starts) with the Sacramento Kings, while shooting 41.9 percent from beyond the arc.

The Serbian native is more than just a floor spacer.

Bjelica has not yet communicated with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson or Draymond Green.

But he connected with Andrew Wiggins (they were teammates for three seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves) and Andre Iguodala (they briefly were teammates last season with the Miami Heat).
