New Warriors coach was part of wild brawl as player in Serbia

Dejan Milojević player

The Warriors reportedly will be adding Dejan Milojević to the coaching staff on the player development side.

Before the Serbian native became a coach, he played professionally in Europe for 15 years from 1994 to 2009.

And he was part of a wild brawl during the 2005-06 season with KK Partizan based in Belgrade.

Just keep your eyes on No. 13 in a white jersey:

"Milojevic was once a Serbian center, a rugged, undersized big man whose deft skills and tenacity on the glass earned him the nickname 'The Serbian [Charles] Barkley,' " ESPN's Jackie MacMullan wrote in September 2020. "He was a sturdy player who lifted weights in his kitchen.

"He was not averse to mixing it up on the court should a physical presence be required."

I would say so!

Milojević was named MVP of the Adriatic ABA League three years in a row from 2004-2006.
