Nick Wright gives Warriors hilarious advice for Lakers game

Nobody loves LeBron James like Fox Sports media personality Nick Wright.

And as a result, Wright over the years hasn't exactly been rooting for Steph Curry and the Warriors.

Needless to say, he is very excited for Wednesday's showdown between the Dubs and Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center.

Wright on Monday evening went on 95.7 The Game's "Damon, Ratto & Kolsky" show and teased something in the middle of the conversation.

"I do have a piece of advice for the Warriors that I don't have to give now," he said. "[But] just make sure we have time for it at the end, because I want to see how it resonates with you guys once we're done with the Steph Curry lovefest."

About 10 minutes later, Wright was given the floor.

"I think you guys [the Warriors] should rest everyone Wednesday," Wright declared. "Just rest. Just rest. No reason to put Steph and Draymond [Green] through the humiliation of what's awaiting them, and the risk of injury and the extra wear and tear.

"You don't care if you're the No. 7 or No. 8 [seed] -- you're not gonna win either way. Sit your guys, have a nice five days to get ready for [the] Memphis [Grizzlies] or San Antonio [Spurs]. Kick your feet up, enjoy and then get ready for [the] Utah [Jazz].

"That's what you should do. Warriors fans hate that I'm saying it and they think it's because I'm scared of Steph. It's not. It's just good advice. Rest your guys Wednesday."

Now that is some funny stuff right there, and I'm not being sarcastic.

Wright knows how to be entertaining and get a rise out of people.

Now, if the Warriors actually beat the Lakers, you better believe his comments will be front and center Thursday morning.
