Andrew Wiggins plays defense

Nick Young is a Los Angeles native who spent 2013 to 2017 with the Los Angeles Lakers before winning an NBA title with the Warriors in 2018, so you know he was locked in to Wednesday’s play-in game at Staples Center.

While watching Andrew Wiggins work in his first postseason game with Golden State, Young tweeted some praise for the Warriors wingman.

Wiggins continued to be the team’s second-strongest offensive threat behind Steph Curry while taking on some tough defensive assignments against LeBron James and Anthony Davis for the shorthanded, small-ball Warriors.

Wiggins shook up the game early with a stellar defensive sequence against James before knocking down a 3-pointer at the other end.

Clearly Swaggy P liked what he saw from Wiggins, who only played in five postseason games in six seasons to begin his career.
