Raptors Twitter seems mistaken on how to get to Oakland's Oracle Arena

The Toronto Raptors' social media team might need a map.

Ahead of Toronto's 118-109 win over the Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Wednesday night, the Raptors' Twitter account posted an image with the caption: "Crossed the bridge. Ready for battle." There was only one problem.

The team was pictured standing on the Golden Gate Bridge.

In the Raptors' defense, the Golden Gate Bridge does match their color scheme. Plus, you technically could take the Golden Gate Bridge to Oracle Arena if you were driving from, say, Marin County. But the Raptors are staying in The City, not the City of Larkspur for Games 3 and 4. And if they were, it'd be quicker to cross into the East Bay via 580!

The bridge the Raptors probably are kicking themselves for not using, of course, is the Bay Bridge. It's the one connecting Oakland to San Francisco, and what many people will cross while headed to Oracle on Wednesday. Well, leaving aside people riding BART and those who would rather swim across The Bay.

Twitter Canada -- for some reason -- tried to join in on the fun, and at least used an image of the correct bridge. The raptors in their image appear to be traveling in a San Francisco-bound, direction.

Given the geographical challenges faced by the Toronto-based accounts, these tweets beg one question above all else: What were their thoughts, exactly?

The Raptors arrived at Oracle Arena in time for shootaround, unfortunately ruling out the possibility of the NBA Finals' first forfeit-by-bridge. After Toronto's win Wednesday night, the Raptors owned up the gaffe with a strong flex.

Good thing they didn't ask their art department -- or Twitter Canada's -- for directions to Game 3 beforehand.
