Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant limped out of Chase Center after Game 3, and it appears he might be able to play in Game 4 on Monday night.
Grizzlies coach Taylor Jenkins spoke to reporters after practice on Sunday, and from what he has been told by the team's medical staff, "there's probably a really good chance [Morant] doesn't play" in the pivotal Game 4.
Jenkins also doubled down on his insinuation that Morant's right knee injury was caused by Warriors guard Jordan Poole grabbing it late in the Grizzlies' 142-112 loss Saturday night.

"As I said last night, just trying to be matter-of-fact here," Jenkins said Sunday. "This is what Ja says, what our medical team has said after reviewing the play. I mean, Ja was playing great, feeling great all game and the grab of the knee is what triggered the potential injury and why we took Ja out of the game. Nothing has changed from there in terms of that was the play that triggered this and he's got further evaluation that's going on with his knee."
Jenkins also said that Grizzlies general manager Zach Kleiman was having ongoing conversations with the league about any possible ramifications for Poole for the knee grab, but shortly after the coach finishes speaking, multiple NBA Insiders reported that the NBA will take no actions against the young Warriors guard.
While the Warriors have a two-games-to-one lead in the Western Conference semifinals, Morant missing Game 4 doesn't necessarily spell doom for the Grizzlies.

Morant missed 25 games during the regular season with various injuries and amazingly, the Grizzlies went 20-5 without the All-Star guard.
It remains to be seen how serious Morant's injury is or if he is able to play in Game 5 on Wednesday night, but the Grizzlies won't lay down without their leader.
