Seth Curry ‘laughs' at tweet criticizing Oubre's fit with Dubs

After another lackluster game from Warriors guard Kelly Oubre Jr., not even Seth Curry could hold back a reaction.

Curry, a guard for the Philadelphia 76ers and the younger brother of Steph Curry, had a one-word reaction to a tweet criticizing Oubre that said more than enough.

Curry quickly deleted the retort minutes after posting.

Oubre has been a controversial fixture on the Warriors' roster since the beginning of the season, and Tuesday's performance in Golden State's 111-107 loss to the Celtics was no exception. Much like the Warriors, Oubre has been inconsistent since the season began. In Tuesday's loss, he scored 12 points but managed to secure only one rebound and make one 3-pointer over 26 minutes.

His up-and-down, often frustrating play has led to a large amount of early criticism, no matter how many times coach Steve Kerr preaches patience. Oubre still starts, but he has been spending more time with the second unit. Trade rumors, which were eventually refuted, even began circling the 25-year-old last month.

Now, the brother of Golden State's star player is taking jabs at him on social media.

It certainly doesn't bode well for Oubre, and it's not ideal for the Warriors' team chemistry either. However, it's clear based on Oubre's play so far he needs to establish some consistency. His performance often dictates his team's success, and if he continues to struggle, the Warriors will too.
