Forward Marquese Chriss and the Warriors have agreed to one-year, non-guaranteed contract, a source confirmed to NBC Sports Bay Area's Logan Murdock on Tuesday.

Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes was first to report that an agreement was in place.
The agreement is for the minimum salary, and Chriss will receive an invitation to Warriors training camp.
Taken with the No. 8 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft by the Sacramento Kings, the 22-year-old forward was traded to the Suns on draft night and spent two seasons in Phoenix where he averaged 8.5 points and 4.8 rebounds in 154 games.

Following his second season, the Suns traded Chriss to the Rockets with Brandon Knight for Ryan Anderson and De'Anthony Melton. But Chriss' time in Houston was short-lived, as he was traded to the Cavaliers in February.
The Sacramento native will look for a fresh start with the Warriors, who have a re-tooled roster with several young players.
The Warriors currently have 13 guaranteed contracts on the books. Alfonzo McKinnie and Chriss hold non-guaranteed contracts.
