The Warriors haven't had the start to their 2022-23 NBA season and championship defense they hoped for. Nonetheless, they're beginning to climb their way back to a winning record.
Off to a 9-10 start entering Friday, coach Steve Kerr has been looking at different ways to spark the Warriors, even going an unconventional route during the game.

Draymond Green and Steph Curry are usually on the floor together, but Kerr is experimenting with a different look with Green leading the second unit, something the Warriors coach wouldn't have thought of doing years ago.
"They're both playing so well that they can both carry the group that they're with," Kerr told reporters prior to the Warriors' game against the Utah Jazz on Friday night. "I think Steph is playing at such a high level that he can carry any lineup.
"So taking Draymond away from him maybe isn't as damaging as it would have been five, six years ago, where we really wanted to kind of hammer an opponent with those two for a whole quarter."
Kerr continues to tinker with what combination of lineups the two players will be regularly playing with during the game, as there's nothing set for him.

"We're still working through different combinations and lineups, but the last couple of games, as we've looked at it, it's looked good," Kerr added.
"And Draymond gives us more offensive flow and pace and gets us more organized, and staff is just playing hang out of his mind right now. So as long as those two things happen, then we should be all right."
