Steph Curry quickly is climbing up the NBA's all-time scoring list, and while he won't pass anyone Wednesday, he did achieve a career milestone.

With a 3-pointer in the third quarter of the Warriors' game against the Washington Wizards, Curry reached 18,000 career points.

The current NBA scoring leader is the 75th player in NBA history to reach 18,000 career points.

Curry has been on a scoring binge the last few weeks, and entered Wednesday's game averaging a staggering 40.8 points in 10 April contests.

Curry has been hot the last few games, but he cooled off Wednesday. He needed just 11 points to reach the milestone, but went 2-of-10 in the first half and scored just four points.

The two-time NBA MVP recently passed Wilt Chamberlain for the most points in Warriors' franchise history and he will pad that record over the next few seasons.

The next target for Curry on the NBA's all-time scoring list is Dave Bing at 18,327. It shouldn't be long before the former Detroit Piston, Washington Bullet and Boston Celtic is in Curry's rearview mirror.
