Steph Curry calls injured finger ‘all right' going into Game 3 vs. Rockets

HOUSTON - Three days after dislocating his left middle finger, Warriors guard Stephen Curry says he's good to go for Game 3 Saturday evening.

"It feels all right," Curry said following practice at the University of Houston. "It's going to hurt but it is what it is at this point."

Despite the injury, Curry, who dislocated his finger in the first quarter of the Warriors' Game 2 win over the Rockets on Tuesday - has not missed a practice in the days leading up to Game 3.

On Thursday afternoon, Curry went through his usual post-practice shooting routine with assistant coach Bruce Fraser sporting a wrap on his non-shooting hand. Following Friday's practice, Curry sported a similar wrap while holding his hand behind his back during media availability.

Since the injury, Curry said the biggest challenge in his recovery is finding a rhythm shooting. In Game 2, Curry shot just 6-of-16 from the field, including 3-of-13 from 3-point range. Following practice, Warriors coach Steve Kerr said he's hopeful Curry can get back to his usual form.

"He's got it taped up, but it's probably good we have a few days off so hopefully the pain will continue to go down as we get closer to game time," Kerr said.
