Curry drops Cavs' Dellavedova before hitting 3-pointer

Someone should send out a search party for Matthew Dellavedova’s ankles.

During Thursday night’s 119-101 Warriors victory, Steph Curry sent the Cleveland Cavaliers guard to the floor, paused for effect, then drained a wide open 3-pointer.

Sheesh.

Curry might have got away with a bit of contact, but the result is just the same. Not a good look for Dellavedova ending up on the floor while Curry is all by his lonesome to splash another 3-pointer.

Curry and Delly have some history dating back to their clashes in the 2015 and 2016 NBA Finals. Curry recently discussed his trash talk style being more body language-based and this is a perfect example.

Curry is in a zone right now, having dropped at least 30 points in nine straight games while surpassing Wilt Chamberlain as the Warriors’ all-time leading scorer in the process.

Steph can be the ultimate showman and this was just another example of his amazing handle and automatic touch from the 3-point line.
