Steph Curry has accomplished quite a bit over the last calendar year.
Aside from securing the Warriors' fourth championship and acquiring a load of MVP trophies along the way, Curry became a college graduate in May. He completed his coursework at Davidson College 13 years after leaving the school for the 2009 NBA Draft, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in sociology.
"I went to Davidson for a reason," Curry told reporters Thursday at the celebrity American Century Championship golf tournament. "Obviously to play basketball but to get a great education. As things turned out, leaving after my junior year was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up. But I made a promise to my mom and [former Davidson] coach Bob McKillop, that I would finish at some point.

"I did a lot of work right after I left school," Curry continued. "Obviously 13 years later, finally finished. The motivation was, one, to fulfill that promise, kind of what you said on the message it sends."
And then, the four-time NBA champion and father of three unleashed an incredible dad joke.
"My oldest daughter [Riley] is getting older. I wanted to make sure I didn’t graduate the same year she did," Curry said with a smile. "That was it."

Now, the Curry family just needs to decide where to display the college degree. Next to the Finals MVP trophy, perhaps?
