Five days after giving up a 28-0 run to the Dallas Mavericks, the Warriors returned the favor to another Texas team.
Fueled by a thermonuclear hot Steph Curry, the Warriors went on a 24-0 run in the third quarter against the Houston Rockets on Saturday night to completely flip the game.
Curry, who scored just seven points in the first half, went off for 23 points in the third quarter, helping the Warriors outscore the Rockets 39-12 in the period.
The effort was Curry's 32nd career quarter with at least 20 points and staggeringly, his sixth this season.
Curry made 7 of his 11 shots in the third quarter, including 5 of 7 from 3-point range.
Curry's sister, Sydel Curry-Lee, and his teammate -- and Sydel's husband -- Damion Lee, were in awe watching Steph's third-quarter performance.
In the first half, the Warriors looked like a team that might lose another game they should have won. But in the third quarter, Curry took over and changed the game, just MVPs are supposed to do.
