Steph Curry is used to getting MVP chants during Warriors home games at Chase Center, but hearing them on the road? That's unusual.
But it happened during the second quarter of the Warriors' game against the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center on Tuesday night.
Less than five minutes into the second quarter, Curry was at the free-throw line when the large collection of Warriors fans in the building started chanting MVP for him.

Curry finished the first half against the Nets with a dazzling 19 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the field and 5-of-8 from 3-point range. The fans at Barclays loved every single one of his 3-pointers.
Curry won back-to-back NBA MVPs in 2014-15 and 2015-16, with the second one being the only unanimous vote in NBA history. He put together another MVP-caliber season last year as he led the league in scoring (32.0 points per game), but finished third in voting behind winner Nikola Jokić and runner-up Joel Embiid.
Curry already is making his case this season for his third NBA MVP as he entered Tuesday's game averaging 28.1 points per game, second behind Nets star Kevin Durant (29.6). The Warriors guard already has won two Western Conference Player of the Week awards this season.

There's still a long way to go in the 2021-22 NBA season, but Curry looks to be an MVP frontrunner along with Durant and a few other stars.
