Steph Curry has perfect reaction to Sabrina Ionescu's WNBA explosion

Sabrina Ionescu made her WNBA debut last Saturday when the New York Liberty faced Sue Bird and the Seattle Storm in the season opener.

The Walnut Creek native struggled with her shot against the Storm, scoring just 12 points in 34 minutes while going 0-for-8 from 3-point range. But after a subpar debut, Ionescu exploded in her second career game Wednesday, pouring in 33 points while adding seven assists and seven rebounds in the Liberty's loss to the Dallas Wings.

Ionescu's impressive performance drew rave reviews from all across social media, including from Steph Curry, who offered the perfect one-word reaction.

That's all that needed to be said.

Curry and Ionescu have become close over the past year, and it's clear the Warriors star is enjoying watching Ionescu showcase her game at the next level.

Ionescu finished her collegiate career at the University of Oregon as the only player in Division I history to record 2,000 points, 1,000 assists and 1,000 rebounds. She also left Eugene as the NCAA's all-time leader in triple-doubles with 26, more than doubling the previous record of 12 put forth by BYU's Kyle Collinsworth.

There have been only eight triple-doubles in WNBA history. After coming up just three rebounds and three assists shy in her second career game, it looks like Ionescu is primed to add to that tally while becoming the next face of the WNBA.

Something Curry undoubtedly will enjoy watching.
