Steph Curry and the Warriors didn't play Tuesday, the one-year anniversary of Kobe Bryant's tragic death, but the two-time NBA MVP still honored the Los Angeles Lakers legend a day later.
The Warriors star had custom Curry 8s created with the image of Bryant and his daughter Gianna, who also died in the helicopter crash in Calabasas, Calif., on one shoe. On the other shoe, Curry had an image of himself with his two daughters, Riley and Ryan, printed.
From one Girl Dad to another.
Curry wasn't the only Warrior to have special Bryant-themed shoes created ahead of their game against the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night.
Damion Lee and Kent Bazemore, who both wear Curry's signature shoe, had tributes made.
Kobe, Gianna and seven others died on Jan. 26, 2020 while on their way to a game at Braynt's Mamba Sports Academy.
