Steph Curry on Monday was named Western Conference Player of the Month for May.

The two-time NBA MVP also took home that honor in April, which means he has accomplished something for the first time in Warriors history:

This is the ninth Player of the Month of his career.

Curry averaged 36.8 points, 5.6 assists, 5.1 rebounds and 1.4 steals over eight games in May, while shooting 45.2 percent overall and 39.3 percent from beyond the arc.

The three-time NBA champion racked up 46 points in the Warriors' big win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Sunday, bringing his scoring average on the season to a league-best 32.0.

Curry and the No. 8 seed Warriors play at LeBron James and the No. 7 seed Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday night in the play-in tournament.
