Steph meets evil step that caused tailbone injury in Houston

Steph Curry falls on tailbone

Steph Curry returned to the scene of the crime Saturday night.

Six weeks ago, Curry sustained a painful injury during a Warriors game against the Houston Rockets at Toyota Center.

On a fallaway 3-pointer at the end of the third quarter on March 17, Curry stumbled towards the sideline near the Rockets' bench. He expected someone or something to stop his momentum. Instead, Curry tripped over a very short metal step and landed tailbone first on the next step.

Prior to Saturday's game between the Warriors and Rockets in Houston, Curry posed for a photo next to the guilty step and posted it to his Instagram account.

The Warriors got the win on that night in March, but Curry was forced to miss the next five games with a tailbone contusion.

The Warriors (31-32) enter the night with nine games remaining and each contest carries extra importance as they jockey for play-in seeding.
