Steph offers wisecrack to rhetorical question after Game 7

Steph Curry arguably is one of the most unstoppable players in NBA history, whether it's in the regular season or the playoffs.

Speaking to reporters after dropping an NBA-record 50 points in the Warriors' 120-100 Game 7 win over the Sacramento Kings on Sunday at Golden 1 Center, the reigning Finals MVP had a great answer when asked who can stop him.

"Hopefully we never find out," Curry said, half smiling.

In Golden State's seven-game series against the Kings, Sacramento simply had no answer for the future Hall of Famer. It didn't matter if De'Aaron Fox, Davion Mitchell, Malik Monk, Harrison Barnes or Keegan Murray guarded Curry -- the 35-year-old still found a way to make a bucket.

Against the Kings, Curry averaged 33.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 39.1 minutes per game. More impressively, Curry shot 48.8 percent from the field, 37.8 percent from the 3-point line and 82.9 percent from the stripe.

That culminated in the aforementioned 50-point outburst -- the most scored by any player in a Game 7 -- which helped propel the Warriors to a semifinals matchup with LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers.

As the Warriors recover from their grueling series against the Kings, there is no doubt that the Lakers will have watched Game 7 in awe like the rest of the NBA world.

Los Angeles will have a front-row seat to an unstoppable player scoring at will when the two teams meet for Game 1 at Chase Center on Tuesday.
