Steph to play in Warriors-Clippers rematch after ankle tweak

After giving fans a slight scare by exiting Wednesday night's loss to the Los Angeles Clippers with a "tweaked" ankle, Steph Curry will be in the lineup for Friday's rematch with LA, Steve Kerr told reporters before the game.

Curry left the game late in the fourth quarter of Wednesday's game and did not return, appearing to show a bit of a limp. He was listed as probable for Friday night's game at Chase Center, but coach Steve Kerr said Curry went through a light practice with his teammates on Thursday.

The two-time NBA MVP finished with 13 points and five assists over 35 minutes in the losing effort.

Steph wasn't the only Warrior appearing on Friday's injury report. Andrew Wiggins, dealing with a left quadriceps contusion, also will play against the Clippers. The former No. 1 overall pick had 19 points and three rebounds in 34 minutes Wednesday, but took a knee to the quad during the game.

Kerr said Wiggins would be a game-time decision, and the wing is good to go after testing his quad in warmups, according to Warriors radio play-by-play announcer Tim Roye.

If Wiggins isn't available, Juan Toscano-Anderson will be active and you can expect Damion Lee and Kent Bazemore to get more minutes on the wing as the Warriors look to avoid a second straight loss against Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers.
