Steph ‘probable' for Friday vs. Clippers after injury scare

Dub Nation experienced quite the scare in the final minutes of Wednesday's 108-101 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers when Steph Curry rolled his ankle on offense and exited the game shortly after with a slight limp.

After the game, coach Steve Kerr said he did not believe the injury to be serious, categorizing it instead as a "tweaked ankle."

Thankfully, that does seem to be the case, as Kerr told reporters Thursday afternoon he expects Curry to be "probable" for Friday's rematch against LA.

Kerr added Curry was feeling "pretty good," saying that he participated in Thursday's limited practice.

Golden State held a light practice Thursday morning, where Curry, Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins and Kelly Oubre Jr. walked through the offense. Curry also received treatment after.

A cold shooting night for the six-time All-Star resulted in a season-low 13 points on 5-of-17 shooting, including 1-of-6 from beyond the arc. A double and often triple-team defense certainly didn't help matters either, as the Clippers were determined to succeed in locking Curry down.

In eight games this season, Curry owns a 44.6 shooting percentage from the field and is averaging 29.6 points-per-game -- second-best in the NBA.

He, along with the rest of the Warriors, will look for redemption against Kawhi Leonard and the Clippers in Friday's contest.
