Steph reacts to Dubs fan Zalatoris borrowing playoff mantra

What are they going to say now?

Steph Curry coined that phrase while celebrating the 2022 NBA championship with the Warriors this summer while tightly clutching both the Larry O'Brien championship trophy and the Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP award.

That Finals MVP had been the one remaining box to check off Curry's Hall of Fame resume that was often brought up when basketball pundits critiqued his legacy.

Over the weekend, PGA Tour golfer Will Zalatoris -- a San Francisco native and avid Warriors fan -- borrowed the phrase from Curry while similarly hushing the critics with a monumental win.

And on Tuesday morning, Curry tweeted his approval.

Zalatoris yelled Curry's mantra after knocking down a 10-foot putt on the 72nd hole of the FedEx St. Jude Championship on Sunday. It forced a three-hole playoff against Sepp Straka, which Zalatoris won for his first PGA Tour victory.

Like Curry missing the Finals MVP award from his resume, Zalatoris' first win on the Tour had proven to be quite illusive. The 26-year-old finished second in the 2021 Masters Tournament and was runner-up to Justin Thomas at the 2022 PGA Championship. In June, Zalatoris tied Scottie Scheffler for second place at the U.S. Open.

But now, the passionate member of Dub Nation has a "W" on the Tour to go along with a congratulatory tweet from one of his inspirations in sports.

Golf fans should now be on the lookout for Zalatoris to unleash Curry's legendary "night night" celebration at the next Tour event.
