By now, everyone knows that Steph Curry’s performance during Game 4 of the NBA Finals on Friday night was absolutely spectacular -- and record-breaking.
His historic night helped the Warriors even the championship series against the Boston Celtics at two games apiece, with Curry’s 43 points contributing mightily to his team’s 107-97 victory at TD Garden.
Curry’s name is all over the Finals history book even more now than it was before thanks to his jaw-dropping offensive explosion on Friday, and he set yet another series record as he rained threes down on the Celtics in the pivotal Game 4.

Not only did Curry’s seven 3-pointers tie for the third most in a Finals game, but the Splash Brother also became the first NBA player to make at least five 3-pointers in four consecutive Finals games.
Curry made seven threes in Game 1, five in Game 2, six in Game 3 and seven again in Game 4. Across the 2022 NBA Finals as a whole, Curry is averaging 49 percent shooting from behind the 3-point line and 50 percent from the field.
If you’re counting at home, that’s 25 3-pointers made by Curry since the series began -- the most ever in any four-game span during the Finals.

Curry put any concerns about his injured left foot to rest and put the Celtics to bed in Game 4 while making a little -- or, actually, a lot -- of history along the way.
