Steph Curry was born on March 14, 1988.

Seth Curry was born on Aug. 23, 1990.

When you're less than two-and-a-half years apart and you both love basketball, you end up playing a lot of 1-on-1 growing up as brothers.

"It got pretty heated at times, like it does with brothers," Steph told reporters after practice Monday, as Steph's Warriors prepare to play Seth's Blazers in the Western Conference finals. "He always accused me of cheating when I didn't give him foul calls and all that type of stuff.

"So, pretty standard relationship in that sense."

Does Seth accuse Steph of fouling him when they match up as professionals?

"There was one game this past season where he sent me a picture of me defending him and I was reaching across his body," Steph explained. "He's like, 'Still to this day they won't call a foul on you when it's me.'

"I guess that's not hard to believe with how much I foul in general, right?"

Just a classic case of self-deprecation, filled with a lot of truth.

Steph has constantly been in foul trouble during these playoffs, including Game 6 in Houston when he picked up his second foul with 6:40 left in the first quarter and his third foul with 5:44 left in the second quarter.

The two-time NBA MVP certainly redeemed himself in the second half by scoring 33 points and lifting the Warriors to a dramatic series-clinching win.

However, that doesn't take away from the fact that he does foul a lot.

But let the record show that it was Seth who fouled Steph earlier this season on a 3-point attempt:

Also, Steph and Seth do not have a wager on the result of this Western Conference finals matchup between the Warriors and Trail Blazers.

"Don't need any extra novelty bet for this one," Steph said. "The stakes are already high enough."
